 Water  There is a desperate need for good, clean water for drinking and bathing. Water is at a premium! These waters are typical of water sources in South Omo. The scum on the ponds often has to be splashed aside to get to the cleaner water. Needless to say, a lot of contamination remains. Much disease is carried in the water. Men and boys bring their herds to the shallow river to drink. They share the polluted water... it's all they have! We are currently working with potential partners to bring water filters that are efficient and affordable to the people of South Omo. Hopefully, soon we will have the funds to send someone over to South Omo to implement the use of these filters.
